Playing Basketball

Today I got around to playing a nice game of basketball (yes, real life sports). It has been a while since I last played, but it’s nice to see that I can still shoot a ball without breaking something or needing CPR. Playing any type of sports is a great way to relax after a hard day’s work. But, that also means that my will to do any type of work , pleasurable or not, in the evening and specially after a long day, tends to Null. Oh well, maybe tomorrow I’ll finally have the willpower to finish my new wordpress theme, but for now I need to rest my poor aching body.

Following the trend: Site Webgraphs

A couple of friends are doing this, so I decided to make my own webgraph, or, website as graph. It’s basically a visual break down of a website I don’t really see the point of this, rather than looking nice. So here is my webgraph, for the books of history:

digitalself webgraph

Here is what each node means:

blue is for links (the A tag)
red is for tables (TABLE, TR and TD tags)
green is for the DIV tag
violet is for images (the IMG tag)
yellow is for forms (FORM, INPUT, TEXTAREA, SELECT and OPTION tags)
orange is for linebreaks and blockquotes (BR, P, and BLOCKQUOTE tags)
black is the HTML tag, the root node
gray is all other tags

Changing themes

I got really bored with the old theme, which was my first attempt at an original design. I have to say I wasn’t quite happy with it and it was preventing me from posting, since I was genuinely unhappy with it. Well, I decided to do something about it, resulting in a brand new dark design in the pipe. Meanwhile, I managed to bork the old design, making me resort to the wordpress default for a while.

I hope to finish the new design in the next couple of days, since I’m going on a vacation trip next week. With some luck and inspiration, I’ll cross this out of my ToDo List in before the weekend is over. Just have to read how to make a wordpress theme and cross my fingers for it not to be cryptic.
